    interesting. my initial feeling is i think not. if a container is seen as a way to organize the things in our lives, to contain as to give structure, form, order, and a place; then we are seeking to contain or organize our lives when we try to understand our lives. i.e. what is my purpose in life is another way of saying how do i place, position, organize myself to function in the larger world as the container for me.

    i would be interested in hearing what other people think.
