Re: Ridiculous Containers
Thu, February 19, 2004 - 7:52 AMI think there are a lot of things that don't need containers. Landfills are full of empty useless containers.
I'm not too hot on Trader Joe's habit of putting fruit in those plastic boxes. Maybe it protects the fruit a little, and it makes it easier for TJs to inventory, but it's a waste nonetheless.
I also hate things that are double and triple wrapped. -

Thu, February 19, 2004 - 8:45 AMdon't get me started on my trader joe's conspiracy theories. refer to tribe "day for night" for more information, exact thread unknown, sorry.
i have a seriously hard time opening cd's. hard plastic encasing then plastic wrap then that stupid hologrammy metal strip. yuck. i'd rather just buy them opened. maybe a case for used cd-ing. -

Re: Ridiculous Containers
Thu, February 10, 2005 - 6:40 PMOne of my most ridic. is an ammo box painted up all pastel-funky-circussy-weird by my pal Smilee Barrnacle. It's currently EMPTY and being stored in the storage shack I get to use.
I'll get a pic of the ammo box eventually, when I dare enter said shack, which is way up the hill... and which leaks.
